Valley Doll Records warmly welcomes Nektar, who resides in Instanbul, Turkey. The "Safe Zone EP" is Nektar's debut album, or which VDR is proud to release. Nektar described that most of the tracks on his new album were recorded live whilst he was jamming by himself in the short time he has in the evenings; experimenting with synthesizers and drum machines.

During the day Nektar works at a record shop, at night he makes music at home. For the last ten years or so Nektar has been exploring different kinds of sounds like downtempo and electronic jazz at first, then techno and minimal, step by step. For as long as Nektar can recall, he has been trying to support and be part of the underground music community. Nektar believes that music is one of the best ways in the world, and possibly the universe, to communicate. It doesn't have any dialect though it is very substantial and intelligible. Nektar has described that it is music that keeps him going.
